It’s about that time in this ol’ pregnancy when I start to daydream about getting into great shape afterwards and channeling my inner “off duty model” look. I see them all the time living in this fair city, and well…. it’s depressing but also inspiring. Most of these gals could wear just about anything and look glam but they also remind me that the simplest of casual outfits can look the coolest. Here are some annoyingly inspiring shots and then some items to help achieve that “oh this old thing?!” ensemble.
What you’ll need….
Maxi Skirt: Maxis can be worn year round – try for a streamlined cut though or it’ll make you look bulky.
LNA Black Maxi, $99
Oddylyne yellow maxi, $200
Grey, Black and White worn in tees or tank: staples!
BDG tank, $18
LA MADE black tank, $22
James Perse tee, $50
Madewell tee, $22
James Perse again, $50
Black leather or pleather (if you’re a vegan no-leather person) leggings or jeans. Most faux-leather leggings are terrible but I found a great pair from shopbop.
Blank Denim faux-leather legging, $88
Paige Denim leather-front legging, $299
Current/Elliott leather jeans, $582
Ankle Boots. I will invest in one of these three…..which ones just depends how this whole baby budget goes
DV by Dolce Vita bootie, $99
Rachel Comey bootie, $420
My FAVES (of course they are the most $$) Rag & Bone boot, $495
Denim Cut offs. Worn into the fall with a sweater, a nice fitting (not too short!) pair of cutoffs can also be dressed up with heels.
JBrand shorts, on sale! $77
Siwy shorts, $155
Edgy bag– the BEST bag for this look is one from Alexander Wang. It’s worth the money- I have two and they are some of my best purchases
Alexander Wang Diego bag, $825
Rebecca Minkoff shoulder bag, $495
Sunnies, you can also find some fun cheap ones on fredflare.com
Marc by Marc Jacobs sunglasses, $110
Super sunglasses, $185
xoxo,
eloise
